Marty Rendleman is President of Rendleman Management Group, Inc. She also owns a record label and a music publishing company. For over two decades, Marty Rendleman has been in the entertainment business. She has experience in every facet of the business from PR to Management. At one time or another, she has worked with singers, dancers, actors, authors, models & songwriters.

In 1984, she founded Celebrity Prints, Inc., specializing in PR and Special Promotions. Clients ranged from the cast of “Dallas,” Mary Martin, Carol Channing, the original cast of “Star Trek,” Tom Landry, Roger Staubach, Diahann Carroll and Tanya Tucker…to name a few.

Marty is a member of many professional organizations, and her charity work is legion. She co-chaired the first Ben Johnson Cutting and Team Penning event held in Fort Worth and was the Celebrity Coordinator for 10 years for the Walt Garrison All Star Rodeo for MS, with such entertainment as Merle Haggard, George Strait, Alan Jackson, The Judds, Tanya Tucker, Brooks & Dunn and Reba McIntire.

In 1992, a 9-year old by the name of LeAnn Rimes and her family came to Marty’s office asking for help. Marty immediately recognized the talent and during the next three years as LeAnn’s manager, Marty played all the roles necessary, i.e. manager, booking agent, publicist, image maker, etc. She orchestrated her first Showcase at the age of 11, booked her for the prestigious, Meyerson Symphony Center at the age of 12 (the youngest to perform at that time), obtained major radio, television and newspaper coverage and secured “Blue” from Bill Mack, a long-time friend.

After working with LeAnn Rimes, Marty was besieged by parents wanting help with their talented children. Marty refused…until she heard Mikaila, again at the age of 9 years old. She immediately got her a part on “Wishbone”, and started preparing her for a career in the music business. Sure enough, approximately 3 years later at the age of 12, Mikaila signed one of the biggest new-artist deals in history with Universal Records.

In August of 1999, Marty heard and signed another young lady, 15-year old Kristy Lee Cook, from Oregon. Marty presented Kristy to Joe Galante, Chairman & CEO of RCA Label Group, and she was signed and put on their Arista label. Marty then obtained a promotion deal with Britney Spears, and ‘stardom’ seemed imminent. A year later, some of RCA’s young talent was released, including Kristy. However, instead of dropping Kristy, Marty moved her to Texas, where she headlined at the Cowboys clubs in Dallas, Arlington, and San Antonio, and worked with the Kim Dawson Agency for modeling & commercials. Marty produced Kristy’s first album, entitled, “Devoted”, a music video for the single “Devoted,” and Kristy was a finalist on American Idol’s Seventh Season …once again proving that Marty Rendleman is gifted at guiding the career path of young talent!! Watch for Marty’s soon-to-be-released book about young people in the entertainment business, “Singing Your Way To Stardom."
